T-shirt with guide bar
It is something that is indispensable for gas pipelines.
The pipeline has not only straight sections but also bends and branching parts. The guide plate that ensures a smooth passage for the pig without getting caught on the branching side when it passes through this branching part is called a guide bar (pig bar). At Benkan Kiko, we manufacture elbows used in the bending parts of the pipeline and T (tee) fittings used in the branching parts, but we refer to a T fitting with a bar attached to the branching part as a T fitting with a guide bar. Regarding the guide bar, there are various know-how related to its shape and installation method, and the welding to the T fitting body often needs to be performed using a welding method (welding construction method) that has been approved based on regulations such as the Gas Business Act. Benkan Kiko has obtained many welding construction methods based on regulatory requirements such as the Gas Business Act and the Electric Utility Act, allowing us to respond to various cases. In addition to being able to accommodate various shapes of guide bar installations according to customer requests, we can also procure the materials for the guide bars ourselves.
